The Marr’s Field Journal is a literary magazine written, edited and published by undergraduate students. Published annually in print and online each Spring, the journal highlights creative student fiction, poetry, photography, art, dance and musical compositions. MFJ’s purpose is to further the development of young and aspiring writers and artists. UA students can submit via its
online form.

MFJ is named after the first parcel of land purchased as the site for The University of Alabama in 1828 from William Marr.
